VERMONT — Efficiency Vermont is launching the Weatherization Home Repair Program to help Vermonters complete weatherization projects where home repairs are a barrier.
The program offers up to $15,000 in rebates for necessary home repairs.

Offer is for repairs to existing single-family Vermont residences (including short-term rentals) and rental properties with one to four units in preparation for a weatherization project.

Vermont residents who own a single-family home or short-term rental (rented less than six months a year) and whose annual household income falls at or below low or moderate-income guidelines are eligible.
Home repair projects must have an accompanying quote for a weatherization project.

Eligible projects include those for chimneys and flues; combustion appliance safety; drainage; ductwork, electrical systems; foundation work; general safety devices; adding ground vapor barriers; mobile home repair; radon, asbestos, mold and vermiculite remediation and plumbing, roof, siding, sheathing, ventilation and window repairs.

The offer is available while funding lasts.
