GREENSBORO – On May 5, at 3:31 p.m., the Greensboro Fire Department responded to a reported tree on fire on power lines. Crews arrived and verified tree was on fire. Hardwick Electric Departmentresponded to clear the tree from the line and restore power. Once the tree was on the ground, crews cut the remaining tree out of the road and extinguished the fire on the tree.
