The Amazing Hardwick Area

Share article

Hardwick area, comprised of old-timers, some since birth, some recently finding its worth.

This amazing area Is attracting people from all over, who are caring, sharing

Who join right in – seeking opportunities to observe or even serve, those that have the nerve

In an attempt in the community to fit, helping, assisting where needed, with plenty of grit

Granite industry had jobs galore; travel now a concern, returning home with money earned

Artisans, writers, poets, crafters get together after working from home despite the weather,

Hardwick offers schools and teachers that increase students yearning for more learning,

School athletes offer excitement, there is also dancing, music and plays for enlightenment

Areas of recreation, though not fancy, abound with water as well as trails, and reused rails,

Indoor activities include restaurants, stores (a choice array), a museum, a modern library.

There’s a community garden, several free meals and a food shelf ready to feed those in need.

For future demands, there’s a building open to  businesses expanding, planning, canning.

For those in need or for a rotation of clothing, bedding, more, there is a wonderful thrift store.

For wellness requirements, an excellent rescue squad deals, if health center is unable to heal

For comfort (massage), rehab (therapy) beauty care (hair styling) while listening and smiling.

Crime is unfortunately rampant everywhere today, but our police force works to keep it at bay.

For faith, Sundays have several open doors, and there are churches that daily offer more.

The past, enhanced by recent residents, with former ones showing, is constantly growing

This welcoming community of togetherness, spirit and love is continually caring and sharing.
