The recipients are Elizabeth Considine, Seville Murphy and Ava Renaud for Spanish and Brianna Holbrook and Danica Patridge for French.
The Vermont Seal of Biliteracy recognizes students’ linguistic proficiency and cultural competence, highlighting the value of multilingualism in an increasingly interconnected world. In Vermont, the award is presented through a partnership between the Vermont Organization of Classic and Language Educators (VOCALE) and the Vermont Agency of Education.
Brianna Holbrook and Danica Patridge become the school’s first students to earn the Seal of Biliteracy in French.
“We are incredibly proud of these students for their dedication and achievement,” said Principal Jason Di Guilio. “Their accomplishment reflects years of hard work and demonstrates the many benefits of language learning, including enhanced communication skills, cultural understanding, and global awareness.”
