The Bees of Vermont at library, June 18

GREENSBORO – The Greensboro Free Library will host The Bees of Vermont with Spencer Hardy, bee biologist with the Vermont Center for Ecostudies, on Thursday, June 18, at 5:30 p.m., at the library.

Hardy will explore the world of native bees, including some of the 350 species found wild in Vermont. The program will explore the natural history of bees, identification, conservation and relationship with the European Honey Bee, the only honey-producing species in the United States.

The program is free and open to the public. Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. For information, contact the Greensboro Free Library or the website.
