CRAFTSBURY –The Vermont Woodland Association, the Craftsbury Outdoor Center and Forester Rick Morrill will present a program on July 12, at 2 p.m., to explore the forests that sustain recreation at the Craftsbury Outdoor Center. On the woods tour, participants will walk and talk, uncovering how this destination balances sustainability, ecological forest management, and recreation for world-class athletes. Forester Rick Morrill, along with Craftsbury staff, will lead a two-hour walk through the property highlighting forest management goals and strategies that help to meet these varied goals. After the walk there will be snacks and an opportunity to socialize.
