GREENSBORO — The Greensboro Historical Society (GHS) announces the 50th edition of its award-winning “Hazen Road Dispatch” (HRD) is now available.

In the 2026 edition, founding Editor Daniel Metraux shares details on how the HRD came to be in “The Creation of The Hazen Road Dispatch.”

Local architecture is featured as Thomas Twetten relays the stories behind buildings featured in his recent book “Craftsbury Celebration: Old Homes, Barns, and Their Stories.”

Longtime contributor Paul Wood presents Part II of his look at historic schools, focused this time on Walden.

Elizabeth Dow explores the over 250-year history of bridges in Hardwick Village, and Nancy Hill updates readers on the Greensboro Authors Corner at the Greensboro Free Library.

Issue are available at the GHS museum or at area partners, The Willey’s Store, Wilson Farm Market, Buffalo Mountain Co-op, The Craftsbury Library and The Craftsbury Genny.
