WOODBURY – An art opening reception for Woodbury painter Leonora H. Thompson (1935-2023) will be held at the Woodbury Community Library, Friday, Sept. 12, at 6 p.m. Thompson took up painting at age 62, and painted landscapes, water mills, lighthouses, birds and many outdoor scenes on canvas and slate.
