Author Greene at Library April 30

HARDWICK – The Jeudevine Memorial Library and The Galaxy Bookshop will present Thomas Christopher Greene, who will read from “Notes from the Porch: Tiny True Stories to Make You Feel Better About the World,” at the library on Tuesday, April 30 at 7 p.m. This is a free event, and copies of the book will be available to purchase, courtesy of the bookshop.

Greene wrote the short essays found in “Notes from the Porch” during the COVID-19 pandemic. Some are observations of his neighborhood and others are stories of earlier days.

Thomas Christopher Greene is the author of six novels, including the international bestseller “The Headmaster’s Wife.” His fiction has been translated into 13 languages. Greene is also the founder of the Vermont College of Fine Arts where he served as president for 13 years. He makes his home in Montpelier.
