MONTPELIER – The T.W. Wood Gallery is offering printmaking classes. The workshops are taught by Professor Phillip Robertson, who teaches art at the Community College of Vermont and Vermont State University-Johnson Campus. Tuition for the workshops is $100 each with materials included. Scholarships and payment plans are available.
Workshops include Plexiglass Dry Point Printmaking on May 4, at 1 p.m.; Monotype Printmaking on July 13, 1 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., that explores the manipulation of ink on a Plexiglas plate to create one-of-a-kind prints and Greeting Card Workshop on November 9, 1 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., where participants will carve a small piece of unmounted linoleum as a relief print for holiday cards.
