Share article

CABOT – The second Friday Cabot Community Contra Dance will be held on Friday, June 14, in the Willey Building (Cabot Town Hall, 3084 Main St). The dance is held from 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m., with a short intro session for new folks at 7:15. The dances will be taught and called by Don Stratton, and live music is provided by a wonderful group of local musicians.
All dances are taught, and don’t require any special skills. All ages are welcome, and anyone can dance with anyone (the dances don’t rely on gender), generally changing partners with each dance. Admission is on a sliding scale, but no-one is turned away. Water and cups will be provided, or bring a water bottle. Masks are welcomed but not required.
