HARDWICK – The Jeudevine Memorial Library’s summer reading theme is “Adventure Begins at Your Library” and has filled their summer schedule with music, art, storytelling, nature and community.
The summer reading kick-off will take place at Atkins Field on Granite Street on Thursday, June 27, at 10:30 a.m., with an obstacle course, giant bubbles, parachute games and a messy art project. Children can sign up for summer reading and receive reading logs and stickers to track reading progress and choose free books to get started. Snacks will be provided.
Weekly events will continue starting July 11 and run through August 8. All events are free and open to the public with support from the Vermont Department of Libraries and Friends of the Jeudevine Memorial Library.
