GREENSBORO – The Greensboro Historical Society (GHS) will host a book sale and ice cream social Saturday, July 27, in downtown Greensboro. The book sale will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., at Janet Long’s garage, across the street from Willey’s Store. Stop by the GHS lawn for free ice cream from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. An outdoor story walk will be available featuring The Little Red Caboose, a classic Golden Book. Visitors may view this year’s exhibit “Rails to Trails,” along with the permanent Hill Family exhibit and GHS publications, including the Hazen Road Dispatch, will be for sale. Everyone is welcome.
