Palestinian Struggle Depicted on Film, Aug. 30

GREENSBORO – The film, “Where Olive Trees Weep,” will be shown on Friday, Aug. 30, at Fellowship Hall at the United Church of Christ. The film documents the struggles of the Palestinian people under Israeli occupation. It explores themes of loss, trauma, and the quest for justice with Palestinian journalist and therapist Ashira Darwish, grassroots activist Ahed Tamimi, and Israeli journalist Amira Hass. There will be a public discussion after the film.
