HARDWICK – The Hardwick Farmers’ Market and Center for an Agricultural Economy will hold a Harvest Festival, Friday, Sept. 27, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., at Atkins Field, Granite Street. Bring apples or pick some from the community orchard at Atkins Field to press cider. Meet a baby goat, try block printing with Rural Vermont and Fall-themed face painting. Local food tastings will be available from market vendors and Barry Hayes will provide live music. Bring a shirt from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. to have it printed with a limited edition design to celebrate the Center for an Agricultural Economy’s 20th Anniversary. This event is free with the option to purchase from farmers’ market vendors.
