ST. JOHNSBURY – The Northeast Kingdom Artisans Guild’s Backroom Gallery will feature Dominique Gustin’s paintings through November 9. The opening reception will be October 5, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., with a 15% discount off her work throughout the day.
Dominique Gustin is a multi-disciplinary artist working in photography, digital and mixed-media, encaustic, poetry, contemporary collage, video and sound. She attended the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and has worked as an artist and arts professional for over 30 years. She currently resides in St. Johnsbury with her family.
Gustin’s visual art and poetry draw inspiration from nature, myth and culture. Using a multi-layered process that combines contemporary digital collage with traditional artistic media and encaustic painting, the end result is both textural and luminous.
The gallery is located at 430 No. 2 Railroad St.
