GHS Open House, Oct. 12

GREENSBORO – The Greensboro Historical Society (GHS) will be open for a bonus day this autumn: Saturday, Oct. 12, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. On exhibit is “Rails to Trails,” the history of the St J&LC railroad line, from its earliest days through the current Lamoille Valley Rail Trail. A few doors down from the museum there will be a book sale at Janet Long’s garage from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., with prices by donation with all proceeds to benefit the GHS. Cider and donuts will be served. Museum admission is free. Regular museum hours will resume next summer. The society is located at 
29 Breezy Avenue in Greensboro village, next to Willey’s Store.
