HARDWICK – Last week’s article, “Schoop Charged with Embezzlement” misidentified Gary Michaels as the NEKarts treasurer. He serves as Hardwick Downtown Partnership’s treasurer.
Also last week, our story about the Hardwick Town Meeting, “Civil Discussion Marks Uneventful Meeting,” indicated Dave O’Brien had been elected town agent, when David Shepard was elected to fill that role. And Dani Smith does not currently work for Salvation Farms, but is a former employee. She said, “My comments were that when [I] did work for the organization back then, I helped get articles on various town budgets and at the time, the amount we were requesting was $1,500. I think it is great that Salvation Farms is receiving more funding to do its work, but I did not want to see the CAE’s amount reduced and felt the need to speak up.”
Also last week, the story, “Greensboro Holds Lengthy Discussion, Again,” misspelled Eric Hanson’s name and a photo caption. The article should have identified the voting as by paper ballot, not Australian ballot.
In “Voters Act on Elections, Appointments, Australian Ballots,” Galen Fisher’s name was misspelled. Information about Tim Brennan’s background should have read, “He moved from Massachusetts to his Greensboro home in 2017, eight years ago. Brennan was born in Missouri. He earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Missouri, an MA from Washington University in St. Louis and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.” Votes for Christian Holland in the select board race for the one-year term filled by Judy Carpenter should show 63, not 73.
