MONTPELIER — The T.W. Wood Gallery is exhibiting two local artists with an artists talk, March 27, 6 p.m., and a reception, Friday, April 4, 5 to 7:30 p.m. “Howard Norman & Gabrielle Dietzel – Incidents on a Train” will be on exhibit through May 27.


The Nuquist Gallery feature the work of collage artist Gabrielle Dietzel alongside the literary contributions of Howard Norman, combining visual art and storytelling. Gabrielle Dietzel is a collage artist from Montpelier, known for her use of space and found objects. Howard Norman is an award-winning author, best known for his novels The Bird Artist and The Ghost Clause, and his memoir “I hate to leave this Beautiful Place.”
The gallery exhibit is a continuation of “Visual Verse,” an open call exhibit at the gallery that invites Vermont artists to explore the intersection of text and visual art, a platform for artists to experiment with the power of words and imagery.
