Fender-bender with building, no injuries

HARDWICK – On April 29, at 4:34 p.m., Hardwick Police were dispatched to a one-car crash at the Buffalo Mountain Co-Op Building, at 75 Mill St. Upon arrival there was a vehicle that hit the side of the building. The operator, Robert Bigelow, was operating a 1999 Chrysler Sebring. Bigelow advised that he was pulling into the handicap parking space next to the store and pressed the accelerator instead of the brakes. There was damage to the drivers side front fender of the vehicle. There was damage to the a refrigeration unit beside the building. No injuries reported in the crash.
