CRAFTSBURY – The town received a $200 grant award from the Streets as Places program to help fund the annual Craftsbury Block Party, July 3 from 4 to 10 p.m.

Emily McClure with The Genny Craftsbury, at 118 S. Craftsbury Road, coordinates the event in the Village between the CVillage Store and The Genny. She  said, “There’s a lot that goes on with live music, barbecue, and family events, so every little bit helps.”

“We’re excited to help continue the tradition of the Craftsbury Block Party, an iconic town-wide celebration of small town spirit and neighborly gathering,” said the Streets as Places program.

The Streets as Places program is a partnership between Local Motion, AARP, Preservation Trust Vermont and Front Porch Forum.
