On January 24, the Hardwick Police Department arrested Forrest S. Foster, of Hardwick, for two outstanding in-state arrest warrants. The offenses listed on these warrants include Violation of Probation X3, Petit Larceny X2, Violation of Conditions of Release and Domestic Assault. Foster was transported to NECC in St. Johnsbury and lodged on these warrants.
On January 22, at 8:24 a.m., police responded to a burglary at St. Norbert’s Catholic Church. Some time during the night Sunday and early morning Monday, someone gained entry and broke some items in the sanctuary and broke through a door to gain access to a back room and then rifled through drawers and cupboards. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call the Hardwick Police Department at (802) 472-5475.
On January 22, at 7:42 p.m., police were notified of a theft at the Yellow Barn construction site that happened sometime over the weekend. There was a Miller stick welder that was stolen from the site. Videos are being reviewed and the Hardwick Police Department is asking that anyone with information call the department.
