Jack Doris led the Phoenix with 13 and Dan Piascki and Connor Jarriat combined for 13 more in the loss.
“Our seniors really set the tone for us in our last game. Dylan’s willingness to be a relentless rebounder and playmaker, as well as get everyone on the team involved, was huge for us. Sterling had another career night offensively, shooting the lights out. Chris Haefs took on every defensive assignment fearlessly throughout the course of the night and led us to shutting them down in their half-court offense. It was a big team effort and I’m proud of these guys for leading us,” said head coach Brandon Berry.
The Chargers finish up the regular season with a busy week, starting with the second leg of their home and home with Sharon Academy that took place on Monday night. They welcome a tough Richford squad to town on Wednesday and travel to defending Division III champ Winooski on Friday night. They wrap up the regular season at home on Saturday against Twinfield-Cabot on Senior Night.
