On February 1, Deputy Gonyaw responded to a motor vehicle accident into a telephone pole on Craftsbury Road in Greensboro. After investigation, the operator, Kathryn Knuth of Stannard, was arrested and processed for Driving Under the Influence.

On February 4, at 9:10 p.m., Deputy Mark Hinton observed Adam Sykes, of Island Pond, driving 71 mph in a posted 35 mph in Albany. Sykes was cited into Orleans Superior Court on March 12 for the charge of excessive speed.

On September 15, 2023, while on duty for the Orleans County Sheriff’s Department, Deputy Kulakowski was patroling in Greensboro in the Caspian Beach parking lot when he came across a suspicious vehicle parked in the far corner of the parking lot with its interior lights on. After further investigation, Deputy Kulakowski made contact with the male who was sitting in the drivers seat who was identified as Joshua Leblanc, of Woodbury. Upon Deputy Kulakowsk approaching Leblanc’s vehicle, Leblanc was passed out in the drivers seat and was in possession of paraphernalia in his lap. Deputy Kulakowski also observed narcotics in plain view inside of Leblanc’s vehicle. Leblanc consented to a search of his vehicle and during the search Deputy Kulakowski located a baggy of pills. Leblanc identified the pills as being Aderol and told Deputy Kulakowski he did not have a prescription for Aderol. The pills and narcotics from Leblanc’s vehicle were seized as evidence. Leblanc was issued a citation for the possession of Fentanyl and for Possession and Control of Regulated Drugs. Leblanc is due to appear in Vermont Superior Court: Orleans Criminal Division, on February 27, to answer to the charge of Possession of Fentanyl and Possession and Control of Regulated Drug.
