GRAFTON, N.H. — Reuben Adams, 46, of Hardwick, was indicted May 13 on four special class felony counts of drug possession with intent to sell by a grand jury at Grafton Superior Court in New Hampshire.
Prosecutors allege that Adams possessed over 5 grams of crack cocaine, over a half-ounce of cocaine and over five grams of fentanyl with intent to sell on August 16, 2023 in Holderness.
Adams also faces four Class A felony counts for possessing fentanyl, methamphetamine, cocaine and crack cocaine in the same Aug. 16 incident.
In August 2006, he had been convicted in Vermont federal court of possessing heroin and cocaine with the intent to sell.
Adams is scheduled to appear at Lamoille County Superior Court in Hyde Park, on May 29, for status conferences on three 2023 cases brought against him by the State of Vermont.
