On May 22, the Hardwick Police Department reported that a Nissan Xterra was backed into near 163 West Church St. causing rear driver’s door damage. The individual who backed into the Nissan left the scene without reporting the damage. Anyone who may have information pertaining to this incident is asked to contact the Hardwick Police Department.
On June 2, at 10:32 a.m., a citizen reported finding a bicycle in a ditch on Route 15 west of the village. It is a silver and blue Trek bike. If anyone is missing one, please call the Hardwick Police Department.
On May 26, at approximately 4:51 p.m., the Hardwick Police Department stopped Walter F. Foley, of Williamstown, for a motor vehicle violation n Vt. Rte. 14 in the town of Hardwick. At the time of the stop, Foley’s privilege to operate a motor vehicle in Vermont was under criminal suspension for life. He was issued a citation to appear in Caledonia Superior Court on June 24 to be arraigned on this charge.
On June 6 at 12:07 p.m., Robert Percy, of Marshfield, called to report that his vehicle, a 2001 Audi S4 was hit on the driver’s side door and fender while he was at the restaurant. He has no idea who hit the vehicle. Anyone with any information is asked to contact the Hardwick Police Department.
