Leaving the Scene of a Crash

On 7/26/24, Michael Case (46) of Hardwick called to report his vehicle was struck while it was parked in the parking lot of Aubuchon Hardware on 7/23/24. Case initially did not notice the damage to the passenger side of his Ford Explorer. This minor crash was captured on Aubuchon Hardware’s video surveillance system. On 7/27/24, William Swahn (34) of Woodbury admitted to backing his Ford Escape into the passenger’s side door of Case’s vehicle. Swahn is being charged with leaving the scene of the crash; however, this case is being sent to the Restorative Justice Center.
