On August 14, the Vermont State Police received a report of a stolen ATV from Cabot Road in the town of Walden. Members of Eustis Cable advised they had an olive green Polaris ATV parked in the area which was stolen sometime on August 13. The ATV is described as having a ripped seat as well as missing plastic in various places. Anyone with information into the whereabouts of the ATV is asked to contact the Vermont State Police St. Johnsbury Barracks.
On August 15, at 1:12 a.m., troopers from the Vermont State Police Berlin Barracks responded to a report of a male in the roadway who was yelling. Troopers made contact with Jesse Rogers, of Barre City, who was actively standing in the middle of the road. Further investigation determined that he caused damage to a vehicle, driven by Ralph Hewett of Woodbury, who drove past him. Rogers was taken into custody and issued a citation to appear in Washington County Superior Court – Criminal Division on October 10, at 8:30 a.m., to answer to the offenses of disorderly conduct and unlawful mischief.
