HARDWICK – A new bicycle shop, Riverside Cycling, plans a grand opening on September 14, at the Hardwick Inn, 4 South Main. The shop opened with limited hours in August.

The shop is a partnership between Levi Bourne, owner of the building, and Jason Bahner, who owned and operated Wheels Around Waterbury for 20 years.

New bicycles from Cannondale and Rocky Mountain are offered, including children’s bikes, e-bikes, gravel bikes and entry-level and advanced mountain bikes.

Full-service tune-up options as well as stop-and-drop options for quick fixes are available. The shop also stocks accessories: helmets, grips, pedals, bells and Riverside Cycles apparel.

The grand opening will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., with some special offers leading up to the opening.
