Walk for AWARE Saturday, Sept. 14

Share article

HARDWICK – Walkers and bicyclists will meet on Saturday, Sept. 14, at 9 a.m., at Atkins Field for the annual walk to support AWARE programs. This walk is approximately a seven- mile round-trip, heading through town and onto the Lamoille Valley Rail Trail ending at Summersweet Gardens where walkers will be met with treats. Walkers may plan to be picked up at Summersweet Gardens, share a ride to Atkins Field or make the round trip with the group back to town. There will be commemorative water bottles and a selection of t-shirts as gifts for walkers to choose from.

The walk helps show support for AWARE in its advocacy and programming for survivors of domestic and sexual violence in Hardwick and it’s surrounding communities by gathering pledges for each walker.

Email Jerry at [email protected] for more information. For those who would like to participate but are unable to walk, ask about our designated walkers.
