MONTPELIER — “Infinite Inspirations in Pastel,” curated by Laura Pollack and Adrian Giuliani of the Vermont Pastel Society will feature the work of 27 artists through November 23, at the T.W. Wood Gallery. Jeneane Lunn will be jurying this exhibition in person. Selected artists have the opportunity to win one of five different prizes. Winners will be announced at 6 p.m., during Art Walk and reception, Oct. 4.
In “PROTEST,” Vermont artist Ross Connelly will be featured in the Contemporary Hall. This exhibit of black and white photographs documents events ranging from The Pentagon March in 1967 to the Vietnam Moratorium March in 1969. Connelly took these photos during and after his undergraduate years at Howard University. Since his retirement in 2017 Connelly has exhibited this body of work several times.
