Yellow Barn Ribbon Cutting

The ribbon cutting ceremony for the Yellow Barn and Business Accelerator buildings, held on September 27. Attending were (from left): Mateo Kehler, co-owner of Jasper Hill Farm; Dave Lynn, CEO of Agri-Mark and Cabot Creamery; Jon Ramsey, executive director of Center for an Agricultural Economy; Anson Tebbetts, secretary of the Vermont Agency of Agriculture, Food and Markets; Eric Remick, Hardwick select board chair; Aminta Conant, Northeast Kingdom Development Corporation President; Alison Low, Northeast Vermont Development Association senior planner. Cabot is the anchor tenant of the Yellow Barn retail space and Jasper Hill Farm and the Center for an Agricultural Economy are the anchor tenants for the Business Accelerator building.

Former owners of the Yellow Barn in Hardwick, Tim and Bobbie Nisbet and Stephen Ferber, stand in front of the newly-renovated historic building. They sold it on November 21, 2017, to the 1771 Group who sold it to the Town of Hardwick in 2019.
