CABOT – Ian Kelly, who joined the Cabot High School community as a social studies teacher this year, shared news of his departure in the October 4 school newsletter.

He wrote, “I’m writing to share some difficult news. My family and I will be moving to Olympia, Wash., on November 9. This decision, born from love and necessity, aims to provide my wife with the support she needs during a challenging time. Leaving this incredible community, where I’ve cherished every connection, is not easy.”

He continued, “As I prepare to say goodbye, I want my students to know how much I care for them and to celebrate our time together throughout October. Thank you for being such an inspiring community; I will carry these memories with me always. With gratitude, Ian Kelly.”
