Volunteer Fire Department Construction Continues

An excavator puts the finishing touches on bank stabilization work behind the new Woodbury Volunteer Fire Department building on Vt. Route 15. Bank stabilization work had been completed by October 1 according to a Facebook post that day.

WOODBURY – “Things are moving along” with the new Woodbury Volunteer Fire Department building they wrote in an October 5 Facebook post. “The drywall is installed and the taping should start this week. Overhead doors are scheduled to be installed this week. The floor drain and storm water drain systems were installed. [The] septic system will be put in starting mid week.

Earlier, on October 1, they wrote, “The framing was completed in August. Installation of the rough plumbing, wiring [and] HVAC took place in September. The bank stabilization is complete.”
