GREENSBORO BEND — The Greenbsoro Fire Department was dispatched to the intersection of Main Street in Greensboro Bend and Route 16 on October 12 at 9:45 a.m., for a one-vehicle accident into a tree. Arriving crews stabilized the patient and set up traffic control. A three-quarter-ton pickup drove near the shoulder of the road and went into the ditch striking a tree. The patient sustained non-life threatening injuries and was transported via Hardwick Emergency Rescue Squad to the hospital. The Hill Group of East Hardwick towed the truck to their facility. Crews cleared the scene and returned to the station at 10:50 a.m.
