Flood Debris Clean Up

Share article
A pile of debris that includes roofing from the former Inn by the River in Hardwick rests near a pile of trees and other debris removed from the Lamoille River in a Vermont Agency of Transportation project along Route 15 west of Hardwick on Saturday, October 26. A portion of the Inn washed into the river during a storm and subsequent flooding in July 2023, then was removed completely and carted away just days before another flood event a year later further eroded the riverbank where it once stood.
