Slashed Tires, Criminal DLS
Sometime during the overnight hours of October 21 and October 22, two tires were slashed on a pick-up truck at the residence of Cynthia Persons, of Hardwick, parked at 389 Mackville Road. Investigation to continue. Anyone with information is asked to call the Hardwick Police Department.

On October 22 employees at Fisher Auto Parts discovered a large front window had a hole in it. It appears to have been shot with a BB or Pellet gun. The employees did not know when the damage occurred. The value of the window makes this a felony. Anyone with information is asked to call the Hardwick Police Department.
On October 26 at 5:16 p.m., the Hardwick Police Department arrested Eric J. Marcy, of Irasburg, for Criminal DLS. Marcy had been stopped for a motor vehicle violation on Vermont Rte. 14 near Mackville Road. Marcy was issued a citation to appear on November 18 in the Superior Court of Vermont, Caledonia Division, to be arraigned on the charge.
On October 27, at 7:38 p.m., a green 2023 Subaru Outback with Vermont plates was stolen from the parking lot of the Buffalo Mountain Co-op in Hardwick. The vehicle’s last known location was on Vt. Rte. 100 in the town of Eden. If you have information about this or any other vehicle you believe is stolen, please call your local Police Department, Sheriff’s Office or the Vermont State Police
Update: At 2 a.m., the vehicle was recovered at 8 First St., in Morrisville by the Morristown Police Department.
