WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – Bryson Richards, son of former Craftsbury Academy great Pete Richards, saw his PGA Tour qualifying run come to an end two weeks ago at The Preserve at Ironhorse in the First Stage of PGA Tour Q-School.
The former U-32 and University of Rhode Island star missed the cut by two strokes last Friday, despite firing a two under par final round of 70. Richards finished the four-day tournament five-under overall, with a low round of 67 on Wednesday. The six-time collegiate winner will likely compete on the professional mini tours and Monday qualifiers before trying Q-School again next fall.
