Trunk or Treat

The annual Trunk or Treat was held at Atkins Field in Hardwick, October 27, with over 200 children and their families attending. Riley Pinard and his sister Molly Mae, of Albany, go through the 10 different Trunk or Treats that were set up around the pavilion. Standing behind them (back, at left) is Hope Peets of Hardwick. The event was sponsored by Front Seat Coffee, The Cork & Fork, Buffalo Mountain Market and Capitol Candy. The gathering was organized by Josh Peets.

Vanessa Fournier graduated from Hazen Union School in 1973 and went to work taking photos in Bennington, then returned to Hardwick to work for Vin Zecchinelli of Farland Studio for several years. She started her own photo business in 1979. She's been in photography for over 50 years, working for The Hardwick Gazette for 44 years. She retired in 2023 and is still taking pictures for The Gazette because she still loves what she does.
