On November 10, the Vermont State Police was notified of a male who had taken several items from Aubuchon Hardware in Jeffersonville without paying for his items. The male was captured on the store’s surveillance video and later identified as Travis Daigle, of Hardwick. Daigle was located and issued a citation to appear in Lamoille County Superior Court – Criminal Division on December 18, at 12:30 p.m.

On November 14 at approximately 11:53 a.m., Vermont State Police, Woodbury Fire Department, Hardwick EMS and Barre Town EMS responded to a report of a single vehicle crash on Vt. Rte. 14, Woodbury.

Investigation determined a 2014 Ford Escape was traveling northbound. The vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed, went off the roadway and overturned.

The operator was transported to the University of Vermont Medical Center by Hardwick EMS and Dartmouth Hitchcock Advanced response Team.
