On December 17, at approximately 7:35 a.m., Cailin Apple, of Morrisville, was traveling eastward on Vt. Rte. 15 near Quick Lane in a 2006 Ford F-250 pickup truck. Apple lost control on the ice-covered road and struck a westward 2021 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck operated by Danielle Bailey, 45, of Hardwick. As Apple’s truck was going sideways, the right front of his truck hit the left front of Bailey’s truck. Bailey’s truck was forced over a steep embankment, completely rolled over, and came to rest on its wheels. There were no injuries.

On December 15 at approximately 4:32 p.m., Hardwick Police received a call from Rossie J. Mouller advising she would turn herself in for an active arrest warrant. Police arrived at her residence and she was arrested without incident and brought to Northeast Correctional Complex.
