On December 22, at 12:34 p.m., the Greensboro Fire Dept responded with mutual aid to Deerfield Lane in Wolcott for a structure fire with heavy smoke showing. Crews responded with a tanker, engine and personnel to the scene. The fire was controlled within a few hours and crews returned to the station.
