WALDEN – At 9:58 p.m., December 24, the Walden Fire Department, along with mutual aid from the Cabot Volunteer Fire Department, responded with manpower and apparatus to another CO (carbon monoxide) alarm activation in Walden. Again, there were high CO levels believed to be caused from a woodstove. The homeowners evacuated the building prior to arrival. The department ventilated the building and then turned it back over to the homeowners. Attending were Chief Jason Larrabee, Assistant Chief Butch Greaves, Captain Tyler Mayo and firefighter Alecand Matt.
