CRAFTSBURY COMMON — The Craftsbury Academy gymnasium came alive on March 13, as students of all ages shared their creative talents in a vibrant showcase for the school and community. The event demonstrated a wide range of student skills.

The gymnasium was transformed into an art gallery, featuring a collection of student artwork. From architectural sculptures to mixed-media pieces, the displays reflected the imagination of Craftsbury’s young artists. Guiding the students in their artistic journeys was art teacher Alayne Tetor.

On the stage, the students performed a variety of acts, showcasing their talents in gymnastics, dance and music. Closing out the night was a cover of Queen’s “We Will Rock You” by the Craftsbury student band “Radiation,” directed in part by music teacher Jay Terrien.

Student art from Craftsbury and all schools in Orleans Southwest Supervisory Union (OSSU) will be on exhibit at OSSU Art in Bloom, Tuesday, April 8, at the Highland Center for the Arts.
