Cabot Community Contra Dance, April 11

Share article

CABOT— On Friday, April 11, the Cabot Community Contra Dance will take place in the Cabot Town Hall, 3084 Main St, from 7 to-9:30 p.m. Featuring the calling of Lausanne Allen, live music is also provided by a group of local musicians.
All ages and abilities are welcome, and all dance with each other. Genderless terminology is used and all dances are taught, but new dancers are encouraged to arrive right at 7 p.m., as Lausanne will start with the simplest dances, and then build on those throughout the evening.
Admission is on a sliding scale, but nobody is turned away for lack of funds. Masks are welcomed but not required, and everyone is asked to bring clean, dry shoes to change into to keep mud off the dance floor.
