MONTPELIER — The Vermont State Curator’s Office presents “Moments in Time – Works by Vermonters with Dementia” at the State House Cafeteria. The show features work from 13 Vermonters and includes artistic mediums ranging from wood carvings, drawings, paintings, and quilts and will be on view through May 1, with an opening reception on April 10 from 2:30 to 5 p.m.

There will be an opportunity to meet some of the artists who are featured in the show. The event is free and open to the public with an ice cream celebration at 3 p.m.
This collection of art invites viewers to explore their perspectives. Organized by the Vermont Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association, the show seeks to bring attention to the effects of dementia on patients and their loved ones.
The gallery is located at 6 Baldwin St., and is open Mondays through Fridays, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and is free and open to the public.
