Fielder on Fire as Lady Cadets Win Eighth Straight

HENNIKER, N.H. – East Calais native Caitlyn Fielder scored eight more times in a pair of wins over New England College NEC) and Elms College as her Norwich women’s lacrosse team upped their record to a league best 10-1 in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference last week.

Fielder found paydirt five times on Wednesday in a 16-5 drubbing of NEC and three more times in a 19-4 home win over Elms on Saturday, giving her a team-high 30 goals on the season. The sensational sophomore has now recorded 68 goals in 27 career starts for Norwich.

The Lady Cadets were back in action on Tuesday at Colby-Sawyer and are scheduled to host Anna Maria College on Saturday as they march towards the No. 1 seed in the upcoming GNAC Tournament.
