NEW LONDON, N.H. – East Calais native Caitlyn Fielder found the goal eight more times last week, keeping her Norwich University women’s lacrosse team atop of the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) standings (12-1) with wins over Colby-Sawyer College and Anna Maria College.
The former U-32 standout has 16 goals in her last four games and leads Norwich with 38 scores on the season. The sensational sophomore has 76 goals in 29 career games for the Lady Cadets and has them primed for the top seed in the season ending GNAC Tournament. Fellow senior teammate and former Stowe standout Elle Moriarty was honored before the game against Anna Maria on Senior Day. Moriarty has a career-high 27 goals and 31 assists for Norwich this season.

Fielder and the Lady Cadets will be back in action on Wednesday as they take on Saint Joseph’s College of Maine at home on Wednesday before traveling to Rivier University on Saturday. They wrap up the regular season in Northfield next Tuesday against Emmanuel College.
