HARDWICK — Saturday, April 26, Hardwick Fire Department hosted vehicle extrication training for the 45-hour introductory school to fire service. Fire departments all had apparatus on hand to assist with the training.

The course was developed around 15 years ago and is taught by volunteer instructors who put in countless hours developing and updating the course. It is a huge asset for local volunteer fire departments and their newer members in Lamoille, Caledonia, Orleans, Washington and Franklin counties.

All Metals Recycling in Hardwick donated the cars that made the hands-on training possible.
