Share article

EAST HARDWICK – A plant swap will take place Saturday, June 7, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Caledonia Grange #9,  88 E. Church St., East Hardwick. This year the swap coincides with the East Hardwick Children’s Parade. Everyone is welcome to take some plants home. For those bringing extra plants, ensure they are labeled and disease free. All types of plants are welcome; from annual vegetable and flower starts to perennial flowers, fruits and tubers. Do not bring extremely invasive plants to share.  In an effort to discourage the spread of jumping worms, participants are asked to bring seedlings in potting soil or bare rooted plants dug from garden soil (with soil washed away).
